Ferrum Crescent enthused by zinc resource in Spain

FORMER fund manager Myles Campion has labelled microcap Ferrum Crescent’s maiden zinc-lead resource in Spain an “outstanding result”.

The 16 million tonnes grading 6.9% zinc equivalent (plus 25 grams per tonne silver) positions the Toral project as a “potential new major zinc-lead opportunity”, Campion’s fellow executive director Laurence Read said.

The maiden resource is said to have identified potentially economic mineralisation ranging from surface to approximately 1100m below surface, with the block model currently extending for a strike length of 3300m – and remaining open to the east and at depth.

Ferrum Crescent used a zinc price of US$2400 per tonne and lead price of $2000/t, with prices currently around $3600 and $2600 respectively.
