Sometimes, even the hardest of hearts may feel a little sympathy with poor old Donald Trump.

The global ruckus that has been caused by the US President imposing new tariffs on steel and aluminium has got way out of proportion.

Yes, it is all against the principles of free trade. Yes, it could cause a trade war (possible but not probable, though, as there are cooler heads out there).
