The Sydney-based junior, which is commissioning its 125 tonne per day Lucky Strike mill using 1200t of stockpiled ore, has moved to add areas containing the historic Raymond and Carter mines, which are adjacent to its Gold Links property, about 50km from its mill.
Settlement for the purchase is expected within 90 days. The junior has paid a refundable 10% deposit to the owner, and it has a 30-day window to walk away.
If the deal goes ahead, it will give Dateline a mix of freehold and leasehold land covering some 2600 acres from which some 300,000oz has been mined from narrow vein, high grade orebodies, but which has been untroubled by modern exploration techniques or mining.
