Departing chairman Peter Alexander has issued a statement retracting accusations made by the board in recent months, apologising for the conduct of the board.
 
Since February the now former board - including the also departing Marcel Hilmer, Daniel Ryan and James Harris - had argued Cooke had breached confidentially agreements, made questionable trading decisions relating to a recent A$1 million capital raising, and was seeking control of the company.
 
The board, which had commenced actions in the Supreme Court and unsuccessfully through the Takeovers Panel, has now retracted "all accusations and claims of wrongdoing in relation to Alasdair Cooke, his Mitchell River Group and the requisitioning shareholders".
