The new-look MNN is here

AFTER many months of planning, the new MiningNews.net website is live.

The new-look MNN is here

In its 18th year, MNN continues to be the leading daily source of breaking news, market insight and expert opinion in the Australian mining sector.

The revamped website will further enhance our sector-leading coverage and ensure readers can easily unlock the value in that vast information resource.

Our primary content channels focus on exploration and development, finance, commodities, global mining services and technology, and mining sector risk.

Users will be familiar with most of these, but there are two new additions worth pointing out.

The METS Investor channel takes our leading coverage of the investment side of the mining, equipment, technology and services sector and enhances it, looking beyond contract wins, leadership and strategic developments to delve deeper into the value cases of leading listed and private entities, and at the market forces shaping change in the sector.

Mine Risk Management, our second addition to the MNN stable, offers valuable insight into individual company, and industry, management of multiplying business risks and costs, and also the positive/negative ratings and weightings of key business jurisdictions, and finance and balance sheet profiles.

Our data offering will also be enhanced with a summary of movers in the METS space, updated weekly, as well as top ASX drilling intersections of the month, in conjunction with RSC Mining & Mineral Exploration.

Each channel contains a daily mix of breaking news and opinion from experienced writers around Australia plus reporters across the globe from our sister publication Mining Journal, and all the latest in-depth reporting and analysis around key industry events, exclusive interviews with industry leaders, and site visit coverage.

The channels also come with data, exclusive research, opinion columns, podcasts and webcasts. We cover the sector from every angle.

For credible, independent and timely news and insight covering the length and breadth of the mining world, there is no platform like it.

And to ensure you don't miss anything that's important to you on the new site, we will provide tailored alerts to complement our regular email newsletter service. Companies, investors or suppliers with a particular focus or interest will be able to opt in for dedicated alerts from each MNN section.

The website's search function has also greatly improved - track all the important archived news and information with ease.

Our web and subscription team will ensure a smooth transition, and are preparing a site tutorial to guide people through the new site navigation.

Further details on how to get the most value out of your MNN subscription are coming soon.
