The company received the “authorisation of a controlled activity” as required under the Environmental and Biodiversity Conservation Act of 1999 (EPBC) from the Department of Environment and Energy.
Vista president and CEO Frederick H Earnest said the EPBC authorisation was a watershed event for the company.
“With this authorisation, Vista has all the major environmental approvals necessary to allow development of Mt Todd,” he said.
