Production for the first nine months of the 2018 financial year from Jundee has been 201,230 ounces of gold at all-in sustaining costs of A$894 an ounce.

Guidance for FY18 is 245,000-265,000oz of gold.

"We'll smash that," Beament told the Resources Rising Stars conference on the Gold Coast yesterday.

Northern Star recently hit mineralisation 1000 vertical metres below the bottom of the mine.

Jundee's endowment is 10 million ounces down to 750m.

"It's going to be around for a long time," Beament said.

"It's a massive, world-class system."

Northern Star and DDH1 recently completed a 3217m-deep hole at Jundee - a record depth in Australia.
