Such graphite sells for around US$3250 per tonne according to feasibility work completed by Kibaran late last year.
The pilot program is a collaboration with German carbon products specialists ProGraphite.
Regarding funding, Kibaran said there are a number of investment incentives offered to support such programs and that it was "currently discussing potential funding support with two German government trade organisations".
