Mincor's infill drilling painting promising picture at Cassini

INFILL drilling at the Cassini prospect by Minor Resources has intersected yet more high-grade nickel with the first diamond hole returning 11.7m grading 6.13% nickel from 446m.

Mincor is working hard on exploring for nickel on the southern Widgiemooltha Dome.

The hit within the CS2 channel included an interval of 5.24m at 9.74% nickel, with Mincor saying the results from nine drill sections along the channel have confirmed the continuity of well-developed mineralised zones over a 600m plunge ad and confidence in the company's geological interpretation

There are two channel trends associated with Cassini to date with the most drilling at CS2, defining two geological domains: a thick sediment-associated mineralised feature on the upper eastern limb of the channel and a higher-grade, generally sediment-free mineralised zone on the lower western limb.

CS2 has a core with grades consistently above 3%, and it remains open down plunge, Mincor said.
