THE big blue sky conglomerate gold play in the Pilbara region of Western Australia is back underway, with Novo Resources and partner Artemis Resources reporting an “extremely interesting” exploration development, while flagging the new, bigger bulk sampling program is now getting underway.

A number of circa-6 tonne bulk samples have been collected, with one of these to be sealed in crates and shipped to the test plant facility in Perth “over the coming weeks”.

Results are expected “shortly after processing”.

Further samples will be collected pending results.

Meanwhile Novo has reported recovering multiple occurrences of gold from the smaller-sized sampling programs it deigned ineffective last year.

Still, partner Artemis said gold results from the basement dolerite unit grading up to 4.1 grams per tonne “are an extremely interesting development and further work is required to determine the ultimate significance of gold in the zone below the gold bearing con...
