However given Orinoco’s struggles to establish its gold venture, a much more modest 5000m program is being planned, including a 1000m deep hole at the mainstay Cascavel gold project.
The silver hits from 2013 were headlined by 17.5m grading 1292 grams per tonne silver 101m.
“It appears these silver intersections are on the edge of a much larger polymetallic system that also boasts gold, tungsten, copper and cobalt indicated by extensive chip sampling results along fault lines,” Orinoco said.
Metallurgical testwork is planned, as is mapping and geophysics.
Orinoco is hoping to fund further drilling in the second quarter from gold production at Cascavel.
