Lynas already has an offtake agreement with Bosch, with managing director Amanda Lacaze saying a third long term contract was “well progressed”.

The NdPr producer is keen to move away from the short term volatility of the market to a more sustainable commercial setting.

Lacaze relayed a NdPr domestic price in China going from a peak of 510 RMB/kg in mid-August to a low of 255 RMB/kg in mid-December – with the price then quickly recovering to around 330 RMB/kg.
