Aurelia Metals has released drilling results from its North Pod development, a planned extension of the Hera mine.
Significant intercepts included 12 metres at 19.4 grams per tonne gold and 15m at 9.8gpt gold. In addition, the company completed its first development drive, mining 3400t of North Pod ore and treating it at Hera’s processing plant.
Good gold and base metal grades were encountered across the drive; results from 96 grade control samples returned average grades of 9.3gpt gold, 12.6% lead-zinc and 62gpt silver.
Ore processed at Hera for the quarter was 103,208t, with 14,069 ounces of gold sold and 10,375t lead-zinc concentrate shipped.
