Moreton Resources has prepared its first silver concentrate for sale from its Granite Belt project near Texas in Queensland.

Around 784kg has been produced via the retort process and will be ready for dispatch within days, marking a critical milestone on the path to full production of 90,000 ounces per month by the end of January 2018.

The first two shipments have been developed via commissioning operations in the silver room and processing shed, and various other site facilities, although the concentrate, which will be shipped to smelting and refining partners Siltech PMR, contains multiple impurities due to the commissioning nature of the processes and collection methods.

Future shipments will target shipping silver concentrate of greater than 70% purity.
